A tetőn kereszt és zászlótartó rúd áll egymás mellett. A karsztbokorerdős bércről szép a kilátás három irányba is. Dél felé a Zámolyi-medencét és a Velencei-hegységet szemlélhetjük, szemben a Nagy-Csákány erdős oldala emelkedik, északnyugaton pedig Szárliget egyenes utcái töltik ki a völgyet. A háttérben kisebb-nagyobb hegyeket láthatunk, és feltűnik Tatabánya; a Gerecsének csak a nyugati szélét vizslathatjuk. Egy ponton a fák közt kilátunk kelet felé is: a Nagyegyházi-sziklák sora fehérlik a nevében párját ritkító Lófingató-hegy oldalában, a Váli-víz völgye fölött.
A talaj alól kibukkanó fehér mészkő visszaveri a hőt, ezért a helyszín mikroklímája igen meleg. A Zuppa-tető önmagában csak nagyon kicsi kirándulás, sokkal inkább alkalmas a Vértes keleti részeit felfedező túrák kiegészítésére.

- A Szárliget, vasútállomás bejárati út megállóhoz Tatabánya felől érkeznek az autóbuszok.
- A Szárliget vasútállomásról a legrövidebb a menetelés a hegycsúcsra.
- Szár vasútállomásáról is nekivághatunk a csúcsnak.

- Szárról kövessük a P jelzést a K▲ elágazásáig, melyre térjünk is rá, amikor meglátjuk! Ez vezet fel a hegytetőre (3 km, 167 m szintemelkedés).
- A szárligeti vasútállomásról induljunk fölfelé az Országos Kéktúra K jelzésén! Az elágazásnál válasszuk a K▲ jelzést, ezen jutunk fel a csúcsra (3,4 km, 168 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Száron a vasúti megállóhely mellett van ingyenes parkolóhely.
- Szárligeten a vasútállomás épülete mögött találunk ingyenes parkolóplaccot.
