A Galyatetőhöz közeli, masszív foglalatú, forrás mellett asztalt és padokat találunk. Magát a vízfakadást és környezetét alaposan bekebelezte a növényzet.
A Galya-tető csúcsának északi oldalában számos forrás fakad. A Werbőczy-forrás egész évben szünet nélkül oltja az erre járók szomját, még a legnagyobb nyári hőségben sem apad ki. A 2004-es felújítás eredményeként került ide a fából készült információs tábla, amelyen a névadó Werbőczy István életútjáról olvashatunk. A jogtudós fő műve, az ország szokásjogát összegyűjtő Tripartium, azaz Hármaskönyv 1517-ben készült el, és bár nem volt törvényi ereje, az ítélkezési gyakorlatot a 19. század közepéig meghatározta. A forrástól balra látható díszkövet Mátraalmás közössége állította.
A forrás mellett pad és asztal, pihenőhely áll. A felnövekedett növényzet, a szomszédos tarvágás és a farakodóként is használt erdészeti út miatt sem kifejezetten vonzó pihenőhely.

- Távolsági busszal érkezve Galyatetőre, a Galyatető, Kodály Zoltán sétány megállónál érdemes leszállni.

Directions
- Galyatetőről a Turistacentrum, majd a kilátó felé induljunk el. A kilátó alatt jobbra térjünk a Z● jelzésre, ez vezet végig a Werbőczy-forráshoz. Onnan a széles erdészeti úton rövid, mindössze néhány perces séta jobbra, az első kanyarig, és a kilátóponthoz érünk (2 km).
Parking
- A Galyatető Turistacentrum szabadtéri parkolóját díjmentesen használhatjuk (a fedett rész a szállóvendégek részére ingyenes).
