The musicians' fountain is a reminder of the tradition of traveling musicians.
Wolfstein became known worldwide as the center of the Westricher Musikantenregion through the brass instrument workshop of the Sander family. There, for example, the largest tuba in the world was made, which is now on display at Lichtenberg Castle.
In the Musikantenwerkstatt, a small Wolfstein museum, the tradition of handcrafting instruments is vividly presented.
