Voda mohutne padá z výšky 9 metrov po divokom skalnom zráze v nadmorskej výške 1200 m.n.m. Vajskovský vodopád je pomerne dobre ukrytý v náručí bohatej vegetácie. Je trvalý, ale najväčšiu silu dosahuje prirodzene po dažďoch a keď sa topí sneh z okolitých vrcholov.

Vašim štartom môže byť turistický rozcestník Črmné v Dolnej Lehote, odkiaľ sa asfaltovou cestou lemovanou vajskovským potokom môžete vydať k poľovníckej chate Dve vody. Pri chate sa cesta rozvetvuje dvoma smermi; jednak si môžete v Kulichovej doline pri pamätníku uctiť obete lavíny, alebo môžete turistickým chodníkom pokračovať k nášmu cieľu vedúcemu cez Pálenice, impozantnému deväť metrov dlhému Vajskovskému vodopádu.

S nenáročným miernym stúpaním budete v našom cieli za približne tri hodiny a váš podhľad na tento kaskádovitý vodopád obklopený ďalekým lesom si môžete vychutnať spolu s osviežením ale i otužením zároveň.

Celou dolinou vedie 9 km dlhá asfaltová cesta, a preto bude túra skôr príjemnou prechádzkou, hlavne ak si cestu zjednodušíte jazdou na bicykli. Chodník je celoročne otvorený, a tak si krásy vodopádu v podobe ľadového kráľovstva môžete pozrieť aj v zime.

Vajskovská dolina je okrem pešej turistiky vhodná aj na cykloturistiku a s bicyklom sa pohodlne dostanete do lokality Pálenica, odkiaľ vedie k vodopádu cca 2km dlhý peší turistický chodník. K vodopádu vedie turistický chodník z Dolnej Lehoty značený zelenou značkou.
