The waterfall in this gorge-like section of Jegenye Valley is a unique natural value in the country. Water falling from around a 4-meter-high shelf arrives in a tiny plunge pool surrounded by rich vegetation. In the 1940s a pool was made in creek above the waterfall that changed the original rock formation.
The creek courses over sandstone at this point and water-borne sediment in turbulent whirlpools has created a bowl-shaped plunge pool at the base of the waterfall. On one side water has undercutted caprock so much that it will soon obey gravity and collapse. This is how waterfalls keep receding upstream. Paprikás Creek is not powerful enough to straighten its bed but simply flows over the rock shelf. However, slow erosion gradually lowers water course, so this sandstone shelf used to be much higher, perhaps above the artificial terrace.

- Coming from Hűvösvölgy, Budapest get off Bus 64 or 64A at "Kökörcsin utca" (Budapest tickets and passes are valid).
- Get off the train (Esztergom - Pilisvörösvár - Budapest, Nyugati pályaudvar Line) at "Solymár vasútállomás".
By road
- From the bus stop follow the Yellow (S) markers in Jegenye-völgy (Jegenye Valley). As soon as you reach a small terrace with handrail on the left you have arrived at the waterfall. In a few meters a path on the left descends to the base. Alternately, stepping over the creek from the edge of the terrace it is possible to explore the waterfall from above and get to the base too (400 m).
- From the train station take the Green ◼ (Z◼) trail.At the junction change to Mária (ᵯ) trail and hike southward. It joins into Yellow (S) leading to the waterfall (2.5 km, elevation gain: 62 m).

- Free of charge parking at the entrance of the valley, opposite of the fuel station.
- Free of charge parking near Solymár train station.
