Az Oroszlánfejű-kút a Szent György-hegyenPhoto: Hungarian Hiking Association
A forrás a foglalatot díszítő, 1901-ben épített oroszlánfejről kapta a nevét. Kifolyója az oroszlán szájában van, ez a kép inkább hasonlít a középkori templomok vízköpőire, mint egy klasszikus erdei forrásra. Persze az Oroszlánfejű-kút nem is az, hiszen már lakott területen találjuk: Hegymagas legfelső utcájában, autóval is megközelíthető helyen csobog a vize. Ezt a helyiek ki is használják, nyáron szinte folyamatosan érkeznek a kannákkal felszerelt emberek, néha még sorba is kell állniuk.
A kút vize a túrázóknak is hatalmas érték, hiszen a közelben sincs másik vízforrás, a hegymagasi boltok pedig nem a hosszú nyitvatartásukról híresek. A kút az Országos Kéktúra, a P és a S jelzésű turistaút kereszteződése mellett található a Lengyel-kápolnához vezető aszfaltos út mentén.

- A legközelebbi buszmegálló a Hegymagas, templom.
- A Kisapáti, autóbusz-váróterem felől is érkezhetünk a kúthoz.

- A Hegymagas, templom buszmegállóból a K jelzésű turistaúton induljunk északkelet felé, majd a kereszteződésben egyenesen haladjunk tovább a P jelzésű turistaúton (1,1 km, 77 m szintemelkedés).
- A Kisapáti, autóbusz-váróteremből a Horizont kerékpárúton induljunk Keszthely irányába, majd az útkereszteződésben forduljunk jobbra a P jelzésű turistaútra (2,3 km, 88 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- A kút környékén az út mentén tudunk parkolni, illetve néhány parkolóhely van a közeli Lengyel-kápolnánál is.
