Az 1930-as évek óta üzemelő strand egyaránt kínál fürdési, étkezési és sportolási lehetőségeket. Mozgáskorlátozottak számára speciálisan kialakított illemhely található a strandon, a parkolás pedig ingyenes.
A víz fokozatosan mélyül, a lépcsők után még csak derékig ér, és majdnem a mélyvizet jelző bójákig homokos az alja. Családosok a bejárattól balra lévő, sekély partszakasznál gyerekpancsolót és homokozót is találnak.
Sportolni vágyóknak röplabda-, homokfoci-, és streetballpályák állnak a rendelkezésüre, de bérelhetünk vízibiciklit, kajakot, illetve szörföt is. A strand szolgáltatásait egészíti ki két kisvendéglő és két büfé, egy fagyizó, illetve ajándék- és élelmiszerüzletek. Az étteremben magyaros finomságokat szolgálnak fel, de a strand elmaradhatatlan kelléke a büfében kapható sült keszeg is.
A szigligeti strand mellett ingyenes parkolóhelyeket találunk, illetve a hatalmas kerékpártárolót is használhatjuk. A szigligeti Községi Strandfürdő 2019-ben is elnyerte a Kék Hullám Zászló ötcsillagos minősítését.

A strandfürdő nyitvatartási időn kívül (19:00 – 24:00) szabadstrandként működik, ebben az időszakban mindenki a saját felelősségére veheti igénybe.
A strandfürdő nyitva tartási ideje előtt, 5:00 - 7:00 között lehet úszni.
7:00 -9:00 közöttt takarítás miatt zárva van a strand.

- Felnőtt: 1500 Ft
- Gyermek (3-18 év): 1000 Ft
- Családi (2 felnőtt+2 gyerek): 4000 Ft
A belépőjegy egy alkalomra szól. Az ismételt belépéshez – a pénztári órák ideje alatt – újabb belépőjegyet kell váltani.

Public transport
- Szigligetről és más településről is, ha tömegközlekedéssel szeretnénk eljutni a strandra, azt busszal tehetjük meg. A Szigliget, strandfürdő megállónál szálljunk le.
