A dombtető alatti nyeregben áll a helyiek által csak Kiskápolnának vagy szőlőhegyi kápolnának nevezett templom, ahol az évi egyszeri misén kívül esküvőket és keresztelőket szoktak tartani. Létrejötte a helyi szőlősgazdáknak köszönhető, akik az 1840-es években fogtak bele a klasszicista stílusú kápolna építésébe. Az 1846-ban felszentelt kápolna harangtornya majdnem az építmény veszte is lett, ugyanis a II. világháborúban őrtoronynak nézték, és megpróbálták lebombázni. Csodával határos módon csupán az akkor még fazsindellyel fedett tető égett le, maga az épület megmenekült.
Érdekes, hogy bár a kápolna a Balaton egyik legbékésebb, viszonylag eldugott helyén található, környezetében mégis számos háborús emlékművet találunk. A kőkereszt Szigliget hősi halottainak állít emléket, mellette egy bazaltoszlopon lévő tábla az I. és II. világháborúban elhunytakra emlékezik. 1944-ben a közelben lezuhant egy amerikai harci repülőgép, így a gép legénységének emlékműve is itt található, történetükről egy ismertető táblán olvashatunk.
A kápolna mellől káprázatos kilátás nyílik Szigliget dimbes-dombos tájai, illetve a Balaton felé. Egyik irányban az Óvár és a Kamon-kő meredek kiemelkedései, a másik irányban pedig a Szigliget és Badacsony közti, nádas borította öböl terül el, a lábát a Balatonba merítő Badacsonnyal a háttérben. A Balaton túloldalán a fonyódi hegyek emelkednek a láthatáron.
Legutóbb 1995-ben renoválták a kis kápolnát, 2003-ban pedig éjszakai világítást is kapott, így a fehérre meszelt falú, arányos szerkezetű és idilli helyen álló épület már messziről csalogatja a szigligeti turistákat.

- Az Óvár parkolóból a P jelzésen (Hegyaljai út) induljunk el kelet felé, majd a S jelzésen balra fordulunk, ez vezet a kápolnához (800 m, 33 m szintemelkedés).
- A kikötőtől indulva az Aranykagylói úton induljunk el felfelé, a P és S jelzéseket követve. Egy kereszteződésben a S jelzést választjuk, amely mentén hamarosan elérünk a kápolnához (730 m, 41 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Autóval a legkényelmesebben az Óvár parkolóból közelíthető meg a kápolna.
- Az autót letehetjük a szigligeti hajóállomás parkolójában is.
