A kerékpárútról néhány méternyi kitérővel, a Szabadság utcai strand bejáratánál találjuk Balatonmáriafürdőn ezt a fedett pihenőhelyet.
Nem közvetlenül a kerékpárút mentén, hanem tőle egy saroknyira, 70 méternyi kitérővel találjuk meg a 2023-ban átadott, cseréptetős faépületet a Szabadság utca és a Parti utca sarkán. A padokkal és asztallal felszerelt építmény nemcsak egy kiadós zuhé esetén jöhet jól, hanem a rekkenő melegben is, ha egy kis árnyékra vágyunk, sőt ideális helyszín a falatozáshoz, pihenéshez. A bejárat mellett egy bringás térkép is helyet kapott, ami a Balaton körül futó kerékpárutat, valamint nagyobb méretarányban a környéket, a látnivalókat, a bringakörből kiágazó kerékpárutakat mutatja be.
Kerékpártárolót néhány méterrel odébb, a szabadstrandon találunk, ahol akár csobbanhatunk is egyet az aprócska, kör alakú placcról, mielőtt továbbindulunk. A nyári szezonban, a strand nyitvatartási idejében a mosdót is használhatjuk a fehér épületben, ha szükség van rá, illetve vizet is tudunk engedni a kulacsunkba.
