Nádtelep megállóhely a kisvasút nyílt vonali elágazásához közeli szolgálati hely, azaz az itt szolgálatot teljesítő (gyermek)vasutasok felelősek azért, hogy a közelben található váltó mindig jó irányba terelje a vonatokat, attól függően, hogy éppen Fertőboz vagy Nagycenk irányába tart a vonat. Emellett egy sorompó is található itt, amelyet szintén az itt szolgálók működtetnek. A megállóhely peronja mellett álló kis ház építéséhez Szurdokpüspöki megálló-rakodóhely épületei szolgáltak mintául.
A menetrend szerint közlekedő vonatok jelenleg nem állnak meg a megállóhelyen.

Public transport
- A Győr-Sopron vonalon közlekedő vonatokról Fertőboz állomáson kell leszállni.
- A helyközi autóbuszjáratokról Nagycenk (85-ös főút), kastély megállóhelyen célszerű leszállni.

Directions
- Fertőboz állomásról a vasútállomás bejárati útján kell keleti irányba indulni, majd jobbra fordulni a vasúti átjárónál. A Nagycenkre vezető aszfaltútból egy kanyarban ágazik ki jobbra a Nádtelep megállóhely felé vezető földút (kb. 1,7 km).
- Nagycenk (85-ös főút), kastély megállóhelytől a főút mentén nyugati irányba kell indulni, majd a fertőbozi elágazást elérve jobbra kell fordulni. Ahol a Fertőbozra vezető aszfaltút jobbra kanyarodik, ott balra kell térni, a földútra, ami Nádtelep megállóhelyre vezet (kb. 1,6 km).
