Fertőboz megállóhely a nagyvasúti Fertőboz állomás mellett található, olyannyira, hogy csak egy hajszál (egy vágány) választja el attól, hogy közös peronos átszállásra is lehetőség legyen a Győr és Sopron között közlekedő vonatokról. A közös állomás érdekessége a néhány itt kiállított, bár viharvert állapotú kis- és nagyvasúti jármű. A kisvasúti tehervagonok mellett igazi óriásnak tűnik a két kiállított nagyvasúti gőzös, egy 424-es és egy 520-as sorozatú mozdony, melyeket közelről is meg lehet szemlélni a kisvasút indulása előtt.
