The Siebenbründl springs in the Rattersdorf valley basin next to the Austrian border and takes its name from the seven chieftains of Hungary. In the millennium year 1896, a stone plaque was erected here with the names of the chieftains Álmos, Előd, Ond, Kond, Tas, Huba, Töhötöm. The spring supplied the stronghold (or old castle) with its crystal-clear, cold water. This is indicated by the old name of the spring: Burgbrunnen, Altburgbrunnen. The famous 18th century poet from Kőszeg, József Rajnis, wrote in his poem: "There, where the seven springs offer their clear water" (1781).

2. from Kőszeg along Kéktúra (blue hiking trail) to Siebenbründel
From the train station, walk along the (kék sáv) sign through the town. From the Jurisics Castle you walk past the Calvary Church, then through Pintér-tető you reach the springs, so the route is about 4.8 km long, with a walking time of 1.5 hours.
3. from Kőszeg through Királyvölgy (King's Valley) to the Siebenbründel.

(kék sáv), then (kék kereszt) sign
