A Kőszegi-hegység nyugati oldalán, ahol kevésbé sűrű a turistautak hálózata, fakad a Szikla-forrás. Nem kifejezetten népszerű úti cél, hiszen csak egyetlen jelzett turistaút halad a közelében, de ez az előnye is: aki csöndes, igazi erdei élményre vágyik, annak érdemes ide kitérnie.
A Zeigel-nyereg és a Stájer-házak között vezető Z jelzésen érjük el a forrást, útközben hangulatos bükkösökön kelünk át. A Hármas-patak völgyében, az erdő mélyén fakadó forrás mellett áll névadója, egy méretes sziklatömb. A hatalmas kő kis fülkéjében - valószínűleg egy vallási élmény hatására - egy Szűz Mária-szobor néz a forrás felé. A szikla előtt padokkal körülvett, kiépített tűzrakó hely várja a turistákat.
A forrást az 1950-es, ’60-as években foglalhatták. 2015-ben felújított, aszimetrikus foglalása egyik oldalán rövid kőfalban folytatódik, ahol meg is pihenhetünk. Időszakosan csordogáló vize sajnos nem iható.

- A Kincs-pihenőtől a K● jelzésen induljunk el. A Felsőerdő utat keresztezve térjünk a Z sávra, ez vezet a forráshoz (3,8 km).
Parking
- Autóval legközelebb az Okmányosként is ismert Kincs-pihenőnél tudunk parkolni.
