A Becsehely fölött fekvő Kis-hegy fatornyából szép időben akár Szlovéniába vagy Horvátországba is elláthatunk. A közelében 2004-ben épült csillagdát találunk, vele szemben haranglábat, az utca végén pedig Szent Hubertus,a vadászok védőszentjének kápolnáját.
A kilátó
A Becsehely északi határában emelkedő Kis-hegyen fából ácsolt, háromszintes kilátótorony áll. A felső szintre kapaszkodva szemet gyönyörködtető panoráma tárul elénk. A közelben végtelenbe nyúló szőlősorok, szőlőhegyi pincék sorakoznak. Kicsit távolabb északi irányban a Zalai-dombság hullámzik, az ellenkező oldalon a Muraköz látható a Dráva víztározóival. Keletre Nagykanizsát pillanthatjuk meg, tiszta időben nyugat-délnyugat felé pedig Szlovénia hegyei és Horvátország is kivehető a távolban.
A Kis-hegyen már az 1940-es években is állt kilátó a mai elődjeként.
A környék
A kilátó mellett találjuk a Canis Minor Csillagdát, amely a Nagykanizsai Amatőrcsillagász Egyesület obszervatóriuma. Ez Zala megye egyetlen tudományos célra is alkalmas csillagvizsgálója. 1981-ben Nagykanizsán az egykori Úttörőház csillagászati szakköre vehette át a ház udvarán álló Canis Maior csillagvizsgálót, amelyet még ma is használatnak. A város fényei és az ottani amatőr eszközök azonban nem feleltek meg a közben megalakult NAE növekvő igényeinek. Így 2004-ben a becsehelyi Kis-hegyen kezdődött el az új csillagda építése, amelyet 2010 szeptemberében adtak át. Az obszervatórium mellett meteorológiai állomás is üzemel.
A csillagdával átellenes oldalon fa haranglábat láthatunk, előtte kőkereszttel. A haranglábtól az úton továbbindulva tegyünk meg nagyjából 40 métert, ott találjuk a vadászok védőszentjének tiszteletére emelt Szent Hubertus-kápolnát. A térségben egyedülálló kápolna közadakozásból épült. A bárki számára látogatható épületben egy fából készült Szent Hubertus mellszobor és egy apró harang is helyet kapott.
