Im Jahre 2006 wurde südlich der Ortschaft Anglberg der "Anglberger Badesee" eingeweiht. Der Badesee ist ein "Kleinod" zum Wohlfühlen und umfasst eine Gesamtfläche von rund 47.800 m², davon sind 19.000 m² Wasserfläche, die ungetrübten Badespaß bieten. Rund um den See sind Liegewiesen vorhanden, die zum Ausruhen und Erholen einladen. Auf einem größeren Sandspielplatz können sich Kinder und Jugendliche so richtig austoben.
Hinweis zum Stand-Up-Paddling (SUP):
Am Anglberger Weiher ist das Stand-Up-Paddling (SUP) erlaubt. Eine Beeinträchtigung der Erholungssuchenden darf durch das Nutzen des SUP nicht gegeben sein. Daher wird um eine achtsame und rücksichtsvolle Benutzung gebeten, um die Sicherheit der Badegäste nicht zu gefährden.
