The huge rock group of the Geiersteine is interrupted by a wide chasm, the so-called Luger Tor. The rock group that gives the Geiersteine tour its name is also popular with experienced climbers.

The Luger Geiersteine, with a maximum height of 45 metres, consist of a massif with an equally striking rock nose (Geierschnabel) and the free-standing Geierturm. The vulture tower carries an iron weather vane.
The group of rocks that gives the Geiersteine tour its name is also popular with experienced climbers.
