Mountain huts in Ticino

The Corno Gries hut at 2,338 m is located in Val Corno above Bedretto in Ticino. The SAC hut is the starting point for hikes, ski tours and mountain bike tours.

The Cristallina hut is located at 2572 m on the Passo di Cristallina in Ticino between Val Bedretto and Val Bavona. The SAC hut is an important base for summer and winter tours.

The Capanna Cadlimo is located at 2570 m in the Alta Val Cadlimo above the Leventina in Ticino. The SAC hut near Quinto is a quiet base for crossings between Val Piora, Lukmanier and Gotthard.

The Motterascio hut is located at 2172 m on the Alpe Motterascio on the southern edge of the Greina. The SAC hut is the starting point for hikes and summit destinations in the Greina region.

The Capanna Adula CAS is located at 2012 m in the Alta Val Carassino above Olivone. The simple SAC hut is a stage of the Haute Route ticinese.

The Alzasca Hut (Capanna Alzasca) is located at 1734 m in the Val Soladino above the Maggia Valley. The hut of the SAC Locarno section is usually manned from the end of May to the end of October.
