The Palatinate Forest Hut "Im Schneiderfeld" is managed on a voluntary basis by the local group Dahn.
Typical Palatinate specialities are offered as well as coffee and cakes. The "Dahner Hütte", as it is also called, has a beautiful outdoor area and is located in the middle of the forest.

The Palatinate Forest Hut "Im Schneiderfeld" is run on a voluntary basis by the local group of the PWV Dahn.
The hut staff offers typical Palatinate specialities, but also with vegetarian dishes and coffee and cakes, hikers and cyclists are rewarded.
The hut is located in the middle of the forest and is the starting point of several local hiking trails. The premium and premium hiking trails "Dahner Felsenpfad", "Neudahn-Tour", "Kauert-Tour" (just to name a few) pass the hut.
The hut also offers accommodation for groups, but only by appointment. There is also a changing room, children's playground and a disabled toilet.

Opening hours:
January to the end of March and November to the 3rd Sunday in December: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
April to October: Wednesday to Sunday and all public holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesdays in good weather beverage service
Closed days: Monday and Tuesday, except for public holidays
