Die Alpe Moos liegt in der Nähe von Thalkichdorf im Wandergebiet der Hündlebahn auf über 1200 m über dem Meer. Neben Jungvieh leben auf Pferde, Fohlen und Katzen auf der Alpe.
Über den gesamten Sommer ist die Moos-Alpe bewirtschaftet und ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel für Junge, Junggebliebene und Familien. Besonders wegen der Tiervielfalt auf der Alpe bei Thalkirchdorf fühlen sich Kinder hier wohl und können viel entdecken. 2018 wurde die Alpe komplett neu errichtet.
Von einer gemütlichen Wanderung bis hin zur Besteigung des Hochgrat bei Oberstaufen bieten sich von der Moos-Alpe verschiedenste Touren an. Einige Wege sind sogar mit dem Kinderwagen sehr gut begehbar.
Nach den Mühen einer Wanderung werden Gäste mit einer zünftigen Brotzeit aus regionalen Produkten entlohnt, die Alpe ist Mitglied im Allgäuer Alpgenuss e.V.
