Circular hike, unusual, particularly adventurous, in 4 stages. Countless lakes, bizarre peaks, beautiful hilly landscapes, hardly really strenuous.

This is a wonderful hike with amazing views and beautiful surroundings. We made it into a complete day hike by descending to Espot from the Refugi. Note: the top 200 meters of the ascent are on scree, and are not very well marked. Look out carefully for the best path. Note2: the marked route in the app doesn't always follow the path on the map. When they don't agree, follow the map, or the quite clear markings on the path.

Not a lot of people on this route, and excellent views. We returned below the summit, because of strong wind, but vowed that on our next trip to Espot this will be our first hike!

A very enjoyable hike in beautiful scenery. The first half climbs along the water, with many rapids and waterfalls. The second half is mostly out of the trees, with beautiful views. The refuge's location is spectacular.
