Hikers are transported by jeeps to continue the route from Espot to Lake Sant Maurici. Today it leads over the hill through the two areas of the park that are separated by it: El Portarro d'Espot (2,425m), the true centerpiece of the park. Here begins the Aigüestortes area at Estany Llong. The name Aigüestortes comes from the numerous meanders formed by the rivers here. We follow the path of the waterfalls down to Lake Llebreta and further on to the village of Boi. The Vall de Boi has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the Romanesque churches in all its villages.
