From Bagergue there is a short transfer to Pont de Locampo in Val de Ruda. The path climbs through the forest to the lakes already in the National Park and to the mountain hut Refugio de Saboredo. From the Port de Ratera pass (2,543 m) it goes downhill to Sant Maurici Lake. Shortly after, the magical Encantats mountains appear, rising like two needles over the entire surroundings. The route ends at the lake, and from there visitors are taken by jeep from the National Park down to the village of Espot.
