Summer: Hiking, cycling and discovering lakes

In summer, Oy-Mittelberg is a paradise for hiking and cycling. Numerous signposted paths invite you to take short walks or extended tours through scenic landscapes. The panoramic trail around Oy with its impressive views of the Alps is particularly recommended - ideal for families too. Mountain bikers get their money's worth on varied routes around the Grüntensee and on numerous trails in the surrounding area. The Grüntensee itself not only offers beautiful bathing spots and sunbathing lawns, but is also a popular place for surfing, sailing and stand-up paddling. Nature lovers can enjoy the Weitnauer Moos and the Elbsee nature reserve - both oases for relaxation and biodiversity.

Active in nature: relaxation and health

As a climatically favored resort, Oy-Mittelberg focuses on gentle activity and well-being. Kneipp facilities, barefoot paths and numerous places of power invite you to unwind or recover after a sporting tour. For those who like it more sporty, the high ropes course or the Nordic walking trail network offer plenty of opportunities to actively enjoy the summer.

Winter: Cross-country skiing, winter hiking and fun on the slopes

When the snow covers the high plateau, Oy-Mittelberg transforms into a tranquil winter landscape - perfect for cross-country skiers, who can make their rounds on several trails. Snowshoe hikers and winter walkers can enjoy the numerous groomed trails that lead through snow-covered forests and moorland. Skiers and snowboarders can reach the family-friendly ski areas at Grüntensee or in Wertach and Nesselwang in a short time. Toboggan runs and ice skating rinks provide further winter fun.

Allgäu hospitality and regional diversity

Oy-Mittelberg stands for warm Allgäu hospitality: from rustic snacks in the Alpe to regional specialties in the inn to cozy accommodation on the farm, in the hotel or in the vacation apartment, there is something for every taste and requirement. Traditional festivals, small markets and artisan offerings allow you to experience village life up close - always with a view of the unique natural surroundings in the heart of the Allgäu.

Schöne Tour im Allgäu. Viele Nebenstraße, Schotter und kurze, einfache Trails. Beim Weg, bzw.
