Geographically, Göppingen is located between Stuttgart and Ulm on the edge of the Swabian Forest. The region is known for its picturesque landscape with numerous hills and valleys as well as a multitude of lakes and rivers.

    Top Tour mit nur ganz geringen Abstrichen Wie schon mehrfach beschrieben ist das ein toller Mix von Wald, Feld, breiten Wegen, schmalen Wegen etc. Super Blicke, viel zu sehen, auch kulturell. Allein einige Asphaltpassagen, wie etwa die durch Maitis rechtfertigen einen halben Punkt Abzug. Da man von einer Seite aus auch bequem zu Fuß und per Rad auf breitem Weg auf den Hohenstaufen kommt empfehle ich unbedingt, die Tour unter der Woche zu laufen. Bin gestern nicht einer einzigen weiteren Person begegnet - Einsamkeit pur. Im Großraum Stuttgart für mich eine wirkliche Top-Tour!

    Sehr schöne Tour mit tollem Ausblick. Von Schurrenhof bis Wißgoldingen auf befahrene Straßen zu laufen war nicht das schönste! Asphaltanteil ist sehr hoch. Die Schleife von Stuifen nach Rechberg ist nicht nötig! 2,5 Km Umweg nur um Hm schruppen.

    Solide Tour. Habe sie an einem Tag gelaufen, wäre mit einem Kinderwagen wohl nur äußerst schwierig zu bewältigen. ;) Der Abschnitt Schurrenhof bis kurz vor Strietmühle ist im Vergleich zum Rest der Strecke landschaftlich dürftig und leider ziemlich befahren gewesen. Der Stuifen lohnt sich im Vergleich zu den anderen beiden Kaiserbergen nicht wirklich.

Immer wieder tolle Ausblicke, schöne Landschaftsbilder, mit Burgruine Hohenstaufen, Burg Wäscherschloss und Barbarossa-Kirche interessante Kultur, Naturschutzgebiet Spielburg. Viele verschiedene Pflanzen, Vögel und Schmetterlinge. Infotafeln zu Geschichte, Geologie und Natur. Einkehrmöglichkeiten und Rastplätze vorhanden. Gute Ausschilderung. Keinerlei Langeweile.     Ich kann mich meine Vorrednern nur an schließen. Ein wunderbare Tour mit vielen abwechselnden Ausblicken ins Fils- und Remstal. Der Streckenteil von Wäschenbeuren nach Göppingen auf der alten Bahnlinie ist besonders angenehm. Sehr empfehlenswert!

    Schöne Runde mit herrlicher Fernsicht auf die Schwäbische Alb. Einzig das Stück an der Strasse unterhalb Hohenstaufen Richtung Göppingen ist nicht gut. Aber das kann man umgehen indem man nach der Strassenüberquerung nicht rechts sondern dem Pfad geradeaus folgt und dann rechts bis zu einem Weier dort links und gleich wieder rechts geht. Dann kann man später auch wieder rechts zur vorgegebenen Strecke gehen. Wer mit der Bahn und Bus über Göppingen anreist kann dort auch links hinab und durch Göppingen zum Bahnhof kommen.

    Schöne Runde, die weitestgehend auf geteerten Wegen verläuft, teilweise aber auch quer und ohne erkennbaren Weg über die Wiese. Daher bei Nässe weniger empfehlenswert. Das Wiesental nach der ersten Querung der B10 war der schönste Abschnitt. Zwischen Jebenhausen und Bezgenriet kein befestiger Weg. Automaten zur Selbstversorgung durch die Landmetzgereien gibt es in Fraundau und Bezgenriet. Kleine Abstecher lohnen sich - in Jebenhausen zum jüdischen Friedhof (abgeschlossen) - vor der Rückkehr nach Fraundau zum Wildgehege im Eichert. Die Ausschiderung ist grds gut, aber lückenhaft.
