Discover the region
The approximately 2,000-kilometer network of cycle paths offers routes for all demands: leisure cyclists and families will find flat paths along lakes and rivers, mountain bikers and e-bike fans venture into rolling pre-Alpine countryside or alpine trails. Long-distance bike routes like the well-known "Innradweg" or the "Lake Constance-Königssee bike trail" cross the region – ideal for multi-day tours with overnight stays, rest stops, and experiences.
When the first snow falls, the Chiemsee-Alpenland transforms into an idyllic winter landscape. Around Sudelfeld and Hocheck, family-friendly ski resorts, well-prepared slopes, and sled runs await you. Cross-country skiers enjoy over 600 kilometers of groomed trails – classic and skating – through snowy valleys and over sunny high plateaus. Those who prefer it more leisurely discover the region by horse-drawn sleigh rides or ice skating on frozen lakes. This is how winter in the Chiemsee-Alpenland becomes an active nature experience between mountain and lake.
