From the parking lot, follow a well-marked gravel path to Hintermoar Alm and ascend in somewhat steeper switchbacks to the managed (May to October, 20 beds) Kranzhorn Alm. Shortly after, you get the first beautiful view towards Kufstein, the Kaiser mountains, and the higher Alps behind them. Over alpine meadows, follow a steeper path past the small chapel to the summit. Caution is advised here due to steep drops.
