The varied landscape of the Berchtesgadener Land is particularly easy to explore on foot. If you want to take it a little easier, you can take a circular hike to Malerwinkel and see one of the region's landmarks from above - the Königssee. Whether on steep hairpin bends up to the Stoißeralm or along sunny paths to the Kührointalm with views of the Watzmann and Königssee: sporty mountain bikers will find numerous opportunities to test their limits in Berchtesgadener Land. The Rupertiwinkel region, on the other hand, is ideal for leisurely cycling with the whole family. Gentle hills and lush meadows line idyllic lakes where you can enjoy a refreshing dip. An e-bike is the perfect way to explore the region in a relaxed manner. On the Slowbike route from Bad Reichenhall to Oberndorf, for example, you can leave the climbs behind you and enjoy the sweeping views of the Salzburg region from the top of the Högl.
