Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden

Ramsau lies at an altitude of 700 metres above sea level and stretches along the river Ramsauer Ache. The surrounding area is characterised by majestic mountains such as the Watzmann, Hochkalter and Reiteralpe as well as green meadows and lush alpine pastures.

There are many tourist attractions: The collegiate church of St. Sebastian from the 16th century with its magnificent frescoes is one of the cultural highlights of the region. The mountain climbing village of Hintersee or the idyllic Taubensee are also worth a visit.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there are numerous activities such as hiking, mountain biking or climbing amidst the impressive natural scenery - it is particularly beautiful here in spring and autumn.
