GR59 - Great Route of the Aveiro Lagoon: Green Path
Explore the Aveiro Lagoon and the interior of the Region, crossing the territory of the municipalities of Águeda, Anadia, Albergaria-a-Velha, Aveiro, Oliveira do Bairro, and Sever do Vouga.
The GR59 is the one that strays furthest from the Aveiro Lagoon along its route of about 194 km. As with the other routes, intermodality is one of its main features, allowing you to travel its paths on foot, by bicycle, using motorized transport, or, in the lagoon areas, take advantage of the extensive nautical tourism offer for explorations and adventures on the water. From the Aveiro Lagoon to the valleys of Vouga and Alfusqueiro, from the wine-producing Bairrada to the urban heart of Aveiro, this is a route full of surprises to discover.
