The hiking trail runs on the outskirts of the city and reveals the most beautiful and interesting scenic views. It leads through extensive vineyards, open fields and meadows, crosses the water protection area at Queichanger and the oil field in the northeast. The circular route touches the "Kleine Kalmit" in the far west with its magnificent panoramic view of the Palatinate Forest and the South Palatinate vine sea. The path repeatedly offers views into the Garden of the Palatinate and the Au region.
The hiking trail is a circular route, so entry is possible at every point of the path. It is also possible to complete only a part of the path. Those who want to walk a shorter distance can leave the path towards the city center.
The complete hiking trail is for experienced hikers.

Those who want to start at Eutzinger Straße, at the parking lot of the Landesgartenschau grounds, should best take the A65 exit Landau-Süd. Shortly after the Landau town sign, turn right into Eutzinger Straße. The parking lot is at the rear end.Parking
