The current neo-Romanesque building was constructed between 1902 and 1904 south of the old church as a three-aisled, vaulted basilica with a transept.
Until 1967, a bell tower crowned the crossing.
The old Gothic tower houses the large Jesus bell from 1864 and the three small bells St. Maria, St. Joseph, and St. Georg.
In 1955, the organ was built by the company Roth.

The church is open daily.

Church of St. George Arzheim In 1522, the Arzheim church was rebuilt as a chancel-tower structure. In 1719, a new nave with a semicircular apse was constructed next to the tower; thus, the chancel tower became the sacristy. From 1902 to 1904, the current neo-Romanesque building was erected south of the old church as a three-aisled, vaulted basilica with a transept. Until 1967, a bell turret crowned the crossing. The old Gothic tower houses the large Jesus bell from 1864 and the three small bells St. Mary, St. Joseph, and St. George. In 1955, the organ was built by the company Roth. The church is open daily. Chapels In and around Arzheim, there are a number of chapels and wayside crosses as well as wayside shrines.
