Winter Tihany, children's distance and Tihany walk (5 km)
During the Winter Tihany performance hike, children can also test their endurance in a playful setting while admiring some of the peninsula's sights. The route to be followed sometimes includes unmarked paths, where organizers assist orientation with red and white ribbons and directional signs.
Children receive a separate certification sheet at the start, on which they must answer playful questions when visiting the specified locations.

Author’s recommendation
- There is no natural water source along the route, so be sure to bring water, even in winter.
- After the Calvary, try out the famous Tihany echo at Echo Hill – it works better in winter!
- With children, it's definitely worth visiting the Lavender House near the start/finish location!
- After the route, it's worth returning to the nearby abbey and strolling along the Pisky promenade. As a bonus, you can drop by the Rege confectionery next to the abbey, open on winter weekends.
