    Route description :

Our journey starts from Biatorbágy railway station heading north-northeast along the Z▲ trail. We climb up the side of Kálvária Hill, then continue towards the area around the Fő-kút spring, and from there towards Gyöngyvirágos, arriving at Somogyi Béla street which connects Budakeszi and Páty across the Park Forest and Mézes Valley intersection.

Crossing the road at the edge of Páty, we continue again along the Z▲ trail on the western side of Hosszú-hajtás Hill and then through Hidegvölgy. Here, the path leads through sections fenced off, which are left behind by climbing ladders. We cross the main road connecting Budakeszi and Telki at the Erzsébet buffet, known as the Hidegvölgyi junction.

From here, we ascend along the Sisakvirág nature trail up to Kopasz Hill in the heart of the Buda Protected Landscape Area, up to the Tarnai rest area which offers a wonderful view of the trail behind us. Shortly after the rest area, we switch to the joint Z+ and P▲ trails, and after a short while when the two trails part ways, we continue on Z+ heading south towards the military graves.

Not long after, we cross the Budakeszi-Telki main road again and continue along the Z+ trail beside Pusztatemplom fields up to the finish medal's decorative hundred-year-old pair of giant sequoias. This is already the border of Budakeszi. From here, crossing Budakeszi’s outskirts unchanged on the trail, then making a sharp left turn on Domb street, we ascend again on Stromfeld Aurél road towards Makkosmária.

Shortly after leaving the asphalt road, we ask for directions to the Meteor Gorge (also known as Mária Gorge), through which we reach Makkosmária. Continuing on the Z+ trail via Saint James Road, we approach Normafa where we circle the Normafa ski lodge (and possibly refresh with a strudel before the last kilometers) then proceed along the Z trail. We only stay briefly on Hegyhát street, then turn right onto the Z▲ trail and descend beside Apáca meadow to Nőszirom street, from where we reach Edvi Illés street through the rocks of Devil's Peak. Finally, turning left, we arrive at La Piazza restaurant at Farkasrét Square, the end point of our journey.
