A detour to St. Georgen Abbey with its wonderful abbey gardens, the Georgium winery, or Taggenbrunn Castle with the goddess of time is recommended.

The Fox Palace in St. Veit an der Glan forms the starting point of this route. Also visit the St. Veit Museum and enjoy the flair of the old town. About 300 m after the starting point, first turn left and then immediately right to reach the Kölnhof energy site. Along Kölnhofallee, cycle past the train station to the railway underpass for cyclists and pedestrians. The route follows Taggenbrunnerstraße and leaves the built-up area. Under the railway and across the expressway, the route then turns right towards Taggenbrunn Castle. Immediately after the turnoff to the castle, follow a gravel path on the left that leads steeply uphill through the forest. Dismount here if you feel unsure! From the highest point of the route, it goes steadily downhill with a beautiful view towards Längsee with its lovely bathing beach and many resting opportunities. Past the southern shore, the route leads to St. Georgen Abbey on Längsee.
The descent to Reipersdorf makes up for the climbs! After passing under the railway, keep right and cycle steadily downhill through a small valley to the Sonnenpark Untermühlbach energy site. This short detour is worthwhile! After Untermühlbach, turn right for 300 m on the main road and then turn right onto the bike path along the Glan. The route mostly runs parallel to the Glan through meadows and fields towards St. Veit. Where a bridge leads left over the Glan, keep right and cycle to the indoor swimming pool energy site. After crossing Völkermarkter Straße, you finally cycle along traffic-calmed residential streets and through a railway underpass. Shortly afterwards, turn left and cycle back to the starting point.
