    Wanderung von der Gletscherzunge nach Vent - wir sind aber zur Bergstation und mit dem charmanten 2-Sitzer runter ... ein Highlight für die ganze bergtaugliche Familie (von 12 bis 69 Jahren) ... viele Wetterlagen durchgespielt, im Grunde jedoch vom etwas nebeligen Gletscher in das Sonnige Tal gewandert

    Die Tour ist falsch beschrieben. Den unteren Teil des Gletschers (laut Karte) gibt es gar nicht mehr. Wenn man dem Track folgt geht man über matschiges abwechselnd Blockgelände und quert zahlreiche Abflüsse. (August) Nachdem ziemlich geraden Aufstieg von der Vernagthütte quert man einen Felsrücken und steigt danach gerade aufwärts. Erst danach beginnt der Gletscher! Hier kann man den steilen Teil (von unten rauf blickend) links hochklettern und umgehen und erst oben am flachen Teil einsteigen. An der (von unten gesehen) rechten Flanke herrscht starke Steinschlaggefahr!

    Der Einstieg an den Gletscher nicht mehr dem Track folgen. Dieser führt durch Geröllhänge und endet links vom Bach an der Gletscherzunge. Besser auf dem Wanderweg zum Gletscher rechts des Flusses halten und über die Gletscherzunge aufstiegen und später auf dem Gletscher links halten.

    Super schöne Tour, da der Schnee nicht tragfähig war, sehr anstrengend. Somit gingen sich Hinterer Spiegelkogel und Schalfkogel aus. Die Anichspitze hatten wir schon vor zwei Jahren besucht. Der Grat ist inzwischen sehr brüchig und erfordert genaues Prüfung und Hinschauen, wo man hintritt.

    abwechslungsreiche und rundum gelungene Tour. Die Oberetteshütte, ihre Hüttenwirte und das leckere Essen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Grüße an Karin, Etwin und Family. Aktuell ist bis auf kurze stellen der gesamte Gletscher noch schneebedeckt. Meine Höhenmessung haben eine akkumulierte Höhendifferenz von 1.500hm ergeben.
