It passes through three very different zones: dense tree heath-laurel forest, open coastal regions with euphorbias and other succulents, and the wild gorge landscape of the Barranco de los Hombres. In the latter, the numerous hairpin bends of an old camino impress, making descent and ascent much easier. However, the heat can sometimes become a problem there, while further up it is often foggy and cool.
If desired, this tour can also start in El Tablado or Franceses.

Roadbook
Now, you proceed high above the coast initially horizontally to the east, until the view opens onto the hamlet of La Fajana directly on the sea, and the path leads down in tight hairpin bends into the bottom of the Barranco de Los Hombres. Marked in red, it then climbs back up on the other side in tight bends towards Franceses. Further up, you reach a road and must follow it over two double hairpins before a sign „Franceses“ points right, and you ascend again on a stone path. At a signposted fork, follow the signboard „Roque del Faro“ to the right. From here, marked in yellow again, it initially goes uphill on a concrete track, soon through a hollow way between some houses. You briefly touch a road and continue steeply uphill following yellow markings. Through dense tree heath, the route climbs higher on an old pull path. After a long ascent, you enter the laurel forest again, and the path crosses the main road (LP-1) after a double curve. Behind it, a stone path continues uphill through the forest. Further up, you reach open terrain, and the path flattens. At a fork, follow a signpost „Roque del Faro“ to the right and slightly downhill. Soon, it ascends again, the path crosses a gravel track and later merges into a road you follow right up to the main road. You cross it and then take a dirt track to the right (signpost „Roque del Faro“). Shortly afterward, sharply turn left onto a footpath. This path leads diagonally down into a valley and back up to the road on the other side. Finally, you cross the LP-1 again, follow a pull path, and then turn right in the dense forest onto an old stone path leading back to the starting point.
