Komulanköngäs is a beautiful, two-branched waterfall, which is rare in Finland. Both falls are easy to admire, from the lake shore and from the top.
- Komulanköngäs is a gorgeous and picturesque waterfall and therefore great example of the Kainuu wilderness.
- The fall is at its best in April and May, during the spring floods.
- Nearby you will find two different fireplaces with lean-to and dry toilets.
- On one side next to the waterfalls there is an old partly restored mill.

Directions
You can access the waterfalls either by car or by foot. We would recommend to take the Kokkoharju circle trail (9 km) from the Ukkohalla Resort to the waterfall. By hiking that route, you get an idea of the Kainuu region and can enjoy it's beauty.Coordinates
