A Vértes nyugati, összefüggő fennsíkjának központja nem dúskál kilátóhelyekben. Az Országos Kéktúra itt futó szakasza mentén a Géza-pihenő az egyetlen természetes pont, ahonnan kitekinthetünk a rengetegre.
A Vértes nyugati része tulajdonképpen összefüggő, alacsony fennsík, amelyet nagyobb részt dolomit, kisebb részben mészkő épít fel. Északi, és főleg déli oldalán hosszabb-rövidebb, tektonikus eredetű völgyek mélyülnek a platóba. Ezek sokszor igen meredek peremén helyenként merész sziklaformációk magasodnak környezetük fölé, máshol fátlan sziklagyepek fedik a letöréseket. E pontokról kilátás nyílik a fennsíkba harapó völgyekre, de közülük csak keveset keres fel turistaút.
A Géza-pihenő természetes panorámapontját felfűzi az Országos Kéktúra is.

- A Gánt, községháza buszmegállóból vezet a legrövidebb út a kilátóhelyhez.
- A Csákberény, Hősök tere megállótól is megközelíthetjük a Géza-pihenőt.

- Gánton induljunk el a főutca mentén nyugati irányban a S+ jelzésen! Erről a Kossuth utcán kell jobbra fordulnunk a kék pecsét jelzésre, hogy aztán arról az első sarkon balra térjünk a K jelzésű turistaútra. Ez vezet föl a kilátópontra (5,7 km, 209 m szintemelkedés).
- Csákberényből a Z jelzés keleti irányba tartó ága kalauzol el a Géza-pihenőhöz (6,8 km, 203 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Gánt központjában a Hegyalja út mentén találunk ingyenes parkolót, de a József Attila utca végén érdemes parkolni.
- Csákberényben a Hősök tere és a Petőfi utca találkozásánál, a kocsma mellett van parkolóhely.
