A Millenniumi-kilátó BogácsonPhoto: Farkas Péter
A Bükkalja termálfürdőjéről híres települése, Bogács mellett dombra épült, földszintes, helyi vörös kövekből épített kilátót találunk.
Bogács az olajfúrás közben, véletlenül talált termálvizéről és a helyben bányászott vörös kőről (dácittufa) híres, amelyből több nevezetessége is épült. A Bogács fölötti dombon magasodó Millenniumi-kilátónak is a helyi kő adja az alapját; hatszög alapja, szabadon hagyott oldala és cserepes teteje jellegzetes kinézetet kölcsönöz neki.
A dombról és a „földszintes” kilátóból szép panoráma nyílik a környékre. A kilátó alatt terül el Bogács, északi irányba a déli Bükk vonulatai magasodnak, dél felé a Borsodi-Mezőség és a Hevesi-sík laposabb tája tárul elénk.

- Eger, Mezőkövesd vagy Bükkzsérc felől is érkezhetünk busszal Bogácsra, a Bogács, autóbusz-váróterem megállóban szálljunk le.

- A buszmegállóból induljunk a falu központja (észak) felé. Az Ady Endre utcán forduljunk balra, és kövessük a P jelzést a kilátóig (850 m).

- A kilátóhoz vezető lépcsősor mellett, a Szomolyai utcán parkolhatunk.
