A Gaja-völgy fölé nyúlik be a Károlyi-kilátó masszív fémemelvénye, amely a szurdok körüli tájcentrum egyetlen kilátója.

A Gaja szurdokát nézhetjük meg felülről a 2016-ban átadott Károlyi-kilátóból. A sziklákra épített fémemelvényről Balinkától a Fehérvárcsurgói-víztározóig pásztázhatjuk a Gaja-völgyet és annak itt-ott előbukkanó peremi bérceit. A szemközti magaslatok mögött a Bakony távolabbi lankái is feltűnnek. A kilátásnak nincsenek drámai elemei, de ez az egyetlen hely, ahonnan a teljes szurdok látszik.

Nevét a kilátó Károlyi Gyuláról kapta, aki a közeli Fehérvárcsurgón alapított vadasparkot.

A Bodajk, lakótelepi elágazás megállóból is megközelíthetjük a kilátót, ide több busz érkezik.

Directions

Az Ifjúsági tábortól a K◼ jelzésen, majd az abból balra kiágazó K jelzésen kell gyalogolnunk. Amikor a K jelzés balra kanyarodik a hegytetőn, induljunk egyenesen előre a K▲ jelzésen! Ez a kilátóhoz kalauzol (2 km, 87 m szintemelkedés).
A bodajki buszmegállóból a K jelzésen kapaszkodhatunk föl a hegytetőre, ahol bal felé kell követnünk a K▲ jelzést, ami a kilátóhoz vezet (1,8 km, 100 m szintemelkedés).

Parking

A Bodajkról a Balinka felé vezető műúton bal oldalon van a parkoló.
Bodajkon a Vásártér utca végén, az egykori sípálya aljában parkolhatunk.
