A Vaskereszt meredek szikláiról szép kilátás nyílik a völgyre, a távolban megcsillan a Fehérvárcsurgói-víztározó tükre, sőt a fák között Csókakő vára is kivehető a távolban. A Gaja-szurdok központi részétől – akár a tavacskától, akár az Ádám-Éva-fától – könnyen elérhető a Vaskereszt, de vigyázzunk, mert esős időben csúszóssá válik a meredek ösvény.
A mementó
A vasból készült keresztet gróf Károlyi Viktor emlékére állíttatták gyermekei. A szájhagyomány szerint 1888-ban a gróf szerelmi bánatában ezen a helyen hajtott le fogatával a mélybe, a család szerint azonban az öngyilkosságát pillanatnyi elmezavar okozta.
A régi magyar főnemesi család, a Károlyiak 1853-ban vették meg a csurgói birtokot. Gróf Károlyi György 1877-ben bekövetkezett halála után Csurgót másodszülött fia, Viktor örökölte. Korai halála után a kastély tulajdonosa idősebbik testvére, Károlyi Gyula (a későbbi miniszterelnök, Károlyi Mihály apja) lett.

- A Bodajk, Ifjúsági tábor buszmegállóból a bekötőúton a K◼ jelzést, majd a K jelzést kövessük az Ádám-Éva-fáig, majd a K▲ jelzésre váltsunk, ez vezet a keresztig (2,6 km, 56 m szintemelkedés).
- A Bodajk, városháza megállóból a P+ jelzést kövessük a kálvária felé, majd a P jelzést az Alba Regia-forrásig. Onnan a K+ vezet le a patakig, ahonnan a K▲jelzés navigál a kereszthez (2,7 km, 96 m szintemelkedés).
- A tájcentrum parkolójából a K+ jelzésen sétáljunk az erdei tóig, majd onnan a K▲ vezet fel a keresztig (1,3 km, 65 m szintemelkedés).

- A Fehérvárcsurgó felől elérhető Gaja-völgyi tájcentrum parkolójában hagyhatjuk az autót.
