The permanent exhibition "Fortress Stories" brings the town of Germersheim and its history and fortress to life in a variety of ways, using multimedia, including listening, seeing and touching. The exhibition, which is well worth seeing, impresses and convinces with its vibrancy, the pleasant breadth of information and the very appealing design, which caters to the needs of different visitors and age groups.
Thanks to its ideal location close to the Rhine, the fortress and the town centre, the site in the historic Weißenburger Tor is an ideal calling card for Germersheim.
