This impressive gorge was formed over thousands of years: At the end of the last Ice Age, a massive glacial lake drained into the foothills of the Alps, shaping the current gorge. The König-Max-Steg, laid out in 1895, offers a breathtaking view of this natural spectacle and showcases the immense power of the water up close.
Additionally, the side viewing platform provides another opportunity to enjoy the Lech and the waterfall with an impressive view.
