Pálmajor Balatonfenyves külterületén fekszik, az egykori Balatonnagybereki Állami Gazdaság része volt, a falusias jellegű településrészt egy-két gazdasági épület kivételével elbontották. Az utolsó állandó utasa a megállóhelynek, aki a közeli szőlőhegyen lakott, a vasutasok elmondása szerint 2020 márciusának elején hunyt el.
