UFFBASSE! - Campaign for considerate coexistence in nature
- Always behave in a foresighted, friendly and considerate manner towards everyone you meet on the way.
- Respect nature, do not destroy plants and always stay on the paths. Try to avoid excessive noise and leave the forest before dusk.
- Remember a garbage bag for the way and take rubbish back home with you.
- Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Other visitors and animals will thank you.
- For your own safety, observe all path closures, even on weekends.
- Only park in designated parking areas. Leave room for emergency vehicles and agricultural machinery.
- Please give priority to agricultural and forestry traffic.

Safety information
Especially in autumn, it must be noted that the leaves lying on the ground can conceal unevenness, roots, stones or holes in the path. After thunderstorms or rainstorms, trees can still fall or branches can break off afterwards. Particularly under adverse weather conditions, natural paths can have muddy and slippery passages. Not all rocks or cliffs are secured with ropes or railings. Surefootedness is required in places. You must expect such path impairments when hiking. If you think certain sections of the path are not passable for you, you should avoid them.
NOTE:
We strive to announce all closures caused by forestry work or hunting societies on this platform. Nevertheless, there are situations where hiking trails are closed and we may not have been informed. If you unexpectedly encounter a path closure or detour, please observe the instructions for your own safety.

Equipment
For our hiking routes, we recommend the following equipment as standard:
- Sturdy footwear
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Sun and rain protection
- Sufficient supply of food and drinks, as there are not everywhere opportunities to eat or shop or they might not be open.
- Although the paths are always very well marked, it is advisable for safety reasons to always carry a suitable hiking map so that, for example, in a thunderstorm or emergency you can quickly find a safe area.
