Bamberg governmental residence and museum built in the fifteenth century, the governmental residence or "Amthof" was the administrative centre of the Bamberg rulers. Today the buildings is the centre for many organisations and events including a music school, rehearsal venue for the town orchestra, a café, and a museum. It exhibits extremely important articles: an ancient early-Christian tombstone of "Valeriana" and a Gothic pewter bottle - the only one of its kind in the world. Since 1959 there has existed a partnership between Feldkirchen and Bamberg, since 1998 also between Ahrensburg near to Hamburg. A section of the museum is in the Missoni-Haus.
