Proper Behavior While Hiking:- Careful trip planning based on descriptions and hiking maps is essential for a successful hike.
- It is equally important to accurately assess the experience, physical fitness, sure-footedness, lack of fear of heights, and stamina of all participants.
- Never stray from marked trails and avoid taking shortcuts.
- Check the weather conditions before your hike and turn back if the weather worsens.
- Nature is for everyone. It is every hiker’s duty to help preserve and keep it clean. Take your trash with you, and be mindful of the flora and fauna.
- Always keep dogs under control and on a short leash. If an attack by a grazing animal is imminent, the dog must be taken off the leash immediately.
