A kopjafát a Mátrafüredi Erdészet állította, illetve újította fel 2004-ben, Bagi József halálának 40. évfordulóján.
Blokkház
Az erdő mélyén álló gerendaház egykor a patakvölgyben járó kisvasút végállomása volt. Pályafutása kezdetén ellenőrző épület lehetett, ahol a fát szállítók („számláit”) kezelték.
A napjainkra felújításra szoruló, tornácos épület zárva van, menedékként nem szolgálja a természetjárókat, csupán tájékozódási pont. A patak mentén még megtaláljuk az egykor vasúti pálya csekély maradványait.
