The lookout tower resembling a wind-filled sail was opened in 2006. By climbing 100 stairs up to the observation deck at 18 metres you will be rewarded with a stunning panorama. In clear weather an area with a radius of around 100 km is visible from here. The Basin of Zsámbék, Pilis Mountains, Gerecse Mountains and, of course, Buda Hills offer a gorgeous view to visitors. It is easy to spot hills surrounding Budapest including Hármashatár Hill, Hárs Hill and János Hill, from left to right, and even the silhouette of Gödöllő Hills east of Budapest is visible. To the north the flat topped Pilis-tető dominates the landscape interspersed with a few settlements such as Budakeszi, Páty and Zsámbék.
Benches and tables are available next to the tower. Pál Csergezán, the eponym for the lookout tower was a painter, graphist and illustrator, reputable for depicting local wildlife in several illustrations both in scientific and popular literature. Past his death in 1996 his ashes were buried in the forest close to the tower at Anna-lak hunters' lodge near Telki.

- Get off the transit bus (Széll Kálmán Square, Budapest - Zsámbék line) at "Hidegvölgyi erdészlak" (30 min. from Széll Kálmán Square).

Get off bus 63 (departure in Hűvösvölgy) at "Nagykovácsi, Tisza István tér".
By road
- From the bus stop head north and follow the Green ▲ (Z▲) to the peak of Mount Nagy-Kopasz (3.5 km, elevation gain 258 m).
- From bus stop "Tisza István tér" in Nagykovácsi head west and follow the Green (Z) markers. Past the village change to "Sisakvirág tanösvény" (Monkshood Nature Trail) to the left to reach the lookout tower (4.2 km, elevation gain 219 m).
- The two starting points are connected by this nature trail (9.5 km, elevation gain 420 m) with 8 stations displaying local natural values.
Parking
- Free of charge parking at Hidegvölgyi Hunters' Lodge (and Erzsébet büfé (diner)) near the road connecting Budakeszi and Telki.
