A nógrádi vár a tó hátterében

Nógrád település mellett hangulatos tavat alakítottak ki, amely körbejárható, és pihenőhelynek is alkalmas.

Bár a Börzsöny és a Cserhát határán fekvő Nógrád elsősorban a váráról híres, a falu szintjén is találunk hangulatos látnivalót, ez pedig a Morgó-patak felduzzasztásával létrehozott Nógrádi-tó. A közvetlenül a vasúti megállóhely mellett hullámzó, parányi, néhány hektáros víztükör feldobja a vidék hangulatát, a horgászok mellett a rövid sétára vágyó helyieknek és a nagyobbat túrázóknak is jó célpont – pláne ha hosszabban kell várni a vonatra.

A tavat körbe lehet sétálni, de le is ülhetünk a kihelyezett padokra a fák árnyékában. A hátteret a nógrádi vár uralja, amelynek meglátogatása szintén javasolt.
